    The Aladdin Storage elevator is ideal to help improve your garage organization. The Aladdin Storage Lift is a motorized attic lift used to carry garage storage items between your attic and the floor below. It eliminates the difficult, time consuming, and dangerous task of lugging storage items up and down a pull-down stairway. It’s designed to handle loads up to 500lbs.

    If you have limited space for garage shelving then the Aladdin is the perfect garage storage system to help you fully utilize that attic space.  A great way to organize all those items too big for your storage cabinets.

    The ASL-500 is neatly tucked away in the area above your ceiling. Installation by your carpenter and electrician is simple, in both new construction and existing homes. The ASL-500 is mostly pre-assembled.

    Aladdin Storage Lifts are ETL listed and have been rigorously tested. They are designed for years of trouble-free operation with a 5 year parts warranty and use the latest technology for electrical components and safety systems.

                                • Do you ship you lifts to Canada?

                                  We can ship the Garage Gators to Canada since we have a warehouse there, but not Aladdin or Versa Lift

                                • What is the speed of the lift in inches per second?

                                  Refer to the installation PDF

                                • What service do you use to ship.

                                  It depends, normally we used to use UPS, but the quality of their service has deteriorated this last year, so now we will switch off to using different carriers based on their availablility to pick the load up in a timely manner.

                                • What clearance height is required in the attic?

                                  If you download the installation PDF on the product page where you add to cart you will have all the details, height requirements and measurements needed.

                                • Is the 500 lb weight limit inclusive of the cart weight or in addition to the weight of the cart?

                                  You can add  500 pounds of your own items to the lift.

                                • Can I roll a heavy cart onto the platform?

                                  The lift has a 500 pound load limit.

                                • What are the dimensions, specifically the height, of the piece that stays in the attic?

                                  There is an installation PDF available for download on the product page if you scroll down near the bottoml.  It contains all info needed.

                                • Do you make a lift that can also transport people as well as items up & down from the garage attic? I would like to eliminate our pull down stairs altogether. If you don't, do you know a company that does? Thank you!

                                  No, the Aladdin is not rated for passengers.  You would need to contact a typical passenger elevator company.

                                • What is the size of loading deck? How big is the area I can put tubs and boxes to lift?

                                  Specifications are listed on the product page. Cart Assembly Load Area – 36” wide x 68 ¾”

                                • If each winch is capable of lifting 400lbs why is the maximum load 500lbs, apologies for the question but what am I missing?

                                  The weight rating being only 500 pds is to provide a wide margin of safety in operation.

                                • I want to use it as a elevator to move bird cages from a bird room into a basement storm shelter below the bird room. Is this possible as long as the fully extended drop is not over 16 foot

                                  It should be no problem as long as the joists are not an issue as per the install instructions.  Raising/lowering from one floor to another is it's intended purpose.

                                • Do you have a local that can install this?

                                  It is difficult for us to maintain a nationwide data base of installers.  For our customers that are not comfortable doing the work themselves, or are not already working with a contractor we suggest checking with your local home improvement store.  They normally carry a list of local contractors that are qualified to do everything.

                                • Where is the Aladdin Manufactured?

                                • Have you had customers use it to lift motorcycles? And is it capable to do so?

                                  I haven't had anyone buy it for that specific purpose, but as long as you are within the 500 pound weight limit it should not be a problem.
